This is because there is a burial in Stourton of a John ODBER, aged 48 years, in 1777 and this seems to fit.

Assuming that I have allocated them correctly, John ODBER and his wife appear in the 1767 Catholic census, so of course he coudl not have died in 1762. They arrived in Stourton in 1755, which would explain why they were not in the 1751 list of inhabitants. At the time of the 1767 census, they had four children, so one is apparently not yet identified.

The List of Inhabitants in 1751 has William ODBER with 9 members of his household. This is the only ODBER family. Perhaps William, his wife and 6 children, plus a servant.

Three of the children show that they have been in Stourton since 1755, indicating that the family as a whole migrated there. This doesn't match with being present in the parish in 1751.
